I'm not impressed...

I'm not impressed with what you can buy but with how you work with what you have, so work it.

I like that challenge ;-D

Kayla is really working the car and the setting and the outfit. Especially the skirt and bag.

Wondering to self, where did I put that car?

Thank you, Brini!

Thanks Dana. Playtime is working with what you have and letting the imagination fill in the gaps. Since you have a lot of doll items to work with, it would be more fun. :)

I'd like to clarify that I'm not saying I have to be impressed. I'm not imposing a challenge or anything. :)

Playtime, to me, is not about impressing others. Usually, playmates build together a make believe world they can share during playtime.

Since there is physical distance between bloggers, one has to initiate his/her virtual world and "work" to make the readers want to be part of it. When we all join in that momentary delusion, that's when it becomes more fun!

But if a playmate doesn't like the make believe world we have made, the playmate would rather have his/her independent playtime, right? That is also good, of course. Maybe he/she can create a new world we haven't thought of we might like to join in.

Imagination is not something we can buy. :)

Oh, I didn't mean challenge in the gauntlet-thrown manner.

I mean challenge in the my playmate's done this cool thing; what cool thing can I do too? Not to top or to impress, but to set off and release the stimulation generated. Creativity begetting more creativity ;-D

Alas, the downside of having too many nice things is that the owner gets lost. Too many things is like too many different voices calling for attention all at once. Not so fun ;-(

Hahaha. I tend to over-analyze at the risk of sounding defensive. Just think of it as part of the imagination or play time.

I understand what you mean about different dolls asking for attention. I have plans to do this and that but *sigh* I can only do so much. And sometimes because of that I ended up doing nothing.
