From the photo on the right, it looks like they are "Barbie-fying" Skipper, which doesn't do much for me. She is basically just a Barbie friend at that point.
I prefer the historical place of Skipper in the line, though aging her a few years to make her more of a Francie was okay.
Now if they were to give her -- and Chelsea and Stacie -- full articulation, I would definitely buy them.
The photo on the right is my repaint and I did want Skipper to be Barbiefied or be a Barbie friend. I don't care much for the Roberts. I like Barbie's friends more. :)
